Warranty information

We have several warranty levels for product protection, offering peace of mind. Our protection provides a repair service authorized by our in-house service technicians. This is available to you in the event of a breakdown of any functioning part of your product during the warranty period. Should your product develop an issue, we advise to backup all personal data where possible. Then contact our technical support team on 01375 892885 9.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Saturday. Please have your order number to hand when you call.

If we can't repair your product, we'll replace it with the same model, or a model with an equivalent specification, in a small number of cases this may be a refurbished model. If no equivalent product is available, we'll either other you the nearest equivalent specification or its selling price value as store credit. The maximum refund will be the price you paid. Regardless, we'll always do our best to make sure you're satisfied with the outcome.

Our levels of cover are as follows:

  1. 12 Months RTB Warranty
  2. 3 Year RTB Warranty (Year 1 & 2 Parts & Labour, Year 3 Labour Only)
  3. Optional RedHouse Protect (See Below)

What your warranty doesn't cover

Accidental damage – Including but not limited to drops, impact damage, or liquid damage. This may be covered under your household insurance.


External factors – Including computer viruses, malware, faulty or incompatible software, software updates, fire, theft, or environmental damage (including lightning).

Software-related faults – We do not cover issues caused by operating systems or software, including but not limited to crashes, blue screens, freezing, driver issues, failed updates, or software corruption.

Failure to follow manufacturer guidelines – Including improper use, installation, maintenance, or care of the device.

Electrical issues – Damage caused by incorrect or unstable power supply, faulty chargers, cables, or external wiring not forming part of the device.

Screen issues – Including image ghosting, screen burn-in, and pixel defects (dead or stuck pixels).

Consumables – Including but not limited to external storage devices, memory cards, batteries (unless explicitly covered), games, and applications.

Commercial use – Devices used in commercial or business environments (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

Data loss – We do not guarantee the protection, recovery, or retention of data. Redhouse Computers accepts no responsibility for any loss or corruption of data during or after repair.

Cosmetic damage – Including scratches, dents, discolouration, or corrosion that does not affect functionality.

Loss of use or indirect loss – Any loss resulting from inability to use the device, including financial loss or inconvenience, beyond the original repair cost.

Routine servicing – Including cleaning, maintenance, or inspections not directly related to the repair carried out.

Deliberate damage or neglect – Including misuse, tampering, or intentional damage.

Third-party applications – Availability, performance, or compatibility of third-party apps cannot be guaranteed and may change at any time.

Service Department Warranty

We provide a 90 day warranty on all parts that we supply and fit, covering faults related to the replaced component (excluding accidental, liquid, or physical damage).

Please note:

  • Motherboard repairs and soldering work are covered by a 30-day warranty.
  • Software-related issues are not covered under any warranty.

Full warranty terms will be stated on your invoice upon collection.
